Requirements to Become an Arizona Home Inspector
- Arizona home inspection education hours: 84 hours
- Home inspections required for certification: 30 parallel inspections
- Exam Required: NHIE
- Application Fee: $175 (other fees may apply)
- Insurance Requirements: E&O insurance of $200,000 in aggregate and $100,000 per OR a bond for $25,000
- Notarized application is not required
- Background check: AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) clearance card required
- Fingerprinting is required
Home Inspection License Expiration: Annually from day after issuance

- No continuing education required for renewal
